"I believe in making Spruce Grove a community where everyone belongs, where everyone feels safe and where everyone feels supported."

Stephanie Chard grew up in Spruce Grove, and now she wants to make a difference in her community by working for the government that is closest to the people.

With a background in social work, Stephanie is concerned by the lack of the City's social services and would like to make services for mental health more accessible to residents. She graduated from Spruce Grove Composite and went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at MacEwan University. In University, she became a passionate advocate for marginalized populations within the community. She is an advocate for victims of sexual violence and has volunteered countless hours at the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton. She is a nominee of the YWCA Edmonton Women of Distinction Award for her advocacy. Stephanie wants to meet with you to hear your concerns and vision for the community, and work together to create a safe and healthy community for all.
